Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information solodeveloping.com collects, why, who receives it and what you can do about it. The site has no accounts, no forms and no advertising.

Who is responsible
solodeveloping.com is run by Fabien Chung (Solo Developing), Montréal, Quebec, Canada. Fabien Chung is the person in charge of the protection of personal information and can be reached at hello@solodeveloping.com.
Audience statistics (Google Analytics)
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_<ID>, kept for up to 2 years) and receives the page address, the referring page, your browser and device type, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and events such as scrolling or clicks. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
The data is processed by Google LLC and may be stored outside Canada. The statistics are used only to improve the site. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Fonts
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), so your browser sends your IP address and browser details to Google when a page loads. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Hostinger. Its servers and content delivery network record technical request data (IP address, date and time, requested address, browser user agent and referring page) to deliver pages and protect the service. These logs are kept by Hostinger under its own retention policy.
Preferences stored in your browser
The site remembers your language in your browser’s local storage (i18nextLng) and in a cookie named i18next that expires after 7 days. While you browse, session storage keeps the service page you came from (sd:origin-facet) so the menu can link back to it. These values stay in your browser and are not used for tracking.
If you write to hello@solodeveloping.com, your name, email address and message are used only to answer you and follow up on your request. They are not sold, shared for marketing or added to a mailing list.
Links to other sites
Links to LinkedIn, GitHub, pub.dev, Medium, app stores and client projects open services that have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector and Canada’s PIPEDA, you can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information held about you, or withdraw your consent. Send your request to hello@solodeveloping.com; it is answered within 30 days. You can also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page is updated.
